California 74th State Assembly District Candidates Davies and Duncan Scheduled to Speak at Upcoming Forum
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity to Sponsor Live Event Moderated by LWVNCSD
OCEANSIDE, Calif. – August 27, 2024 – Candidates running in the 74th State Assembly District in this November's general election are scheduled to take part in a Candidate Forum sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity (Zeta Sigma Lambda chapter). The live event will take place Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the North Coastal Live Well Center, 3708 Ocean Ranch Road, Oceanside, Calif. The candidates, Laurie Davies and Chris Duncan, have confirmed their attendance.
Moderated by the League of Women Voters of North County San Diego (LWVNCSD), these candidate forums are strictly non-partisan and structured with trained facilitators to provide a fair and impartial platform for the public to hear directly from candidates about their qualifications, priorities, and plans. Candidates will have equal time for opening and closing statements and to respond to questions submitted in writing by the audience.
The public is invited to take this opportunity to hear from the candidates and learn where they stand on issues of importance.
