League Urges Board of Supervisors to Reject the Letter Supporting Proposition 13

Loopholes in Prop 13 have allowed corporations to escape paying taxes on the fair market value due to certain corporate structures which make it difficult to determine when properties have changed ownership. Proposition 13 has led to massive declines in funding for our schools and communities. We, therefore, request the Board of Supervisor reject support of Proposition 13.
