LWVNCSD and LWVSD jointly submitted a letter strongly opposing the County Board of Supervisors’ proposal to opt out of including ballot measure supporters and opponents on ballots in all city, county, school, and district elections. By listing support and opposition on ballots, critical information about who is behind a ballot measure is readily available on the face of the ballot itself. This information is especially important to voters whose primary exposure to ballot measures may have been from ads and mailers run by well-funded campaigns. San Diego County voters deserve to have this information when casting their ballots.
