What we do:

  • We educate ourselves and the community about climate change.
  • We advocate for solutions to address rising temperatures.
  • We support legislation that promotes environmental justice and greenhouse gas reduction.
You can be part of the solution:
  • Support  organic food from our local farmers.  Find a list of local farmer's markets at SD Sustainable Living Institute.
  • Reduce your own food waste
  • Participate in the recycle, compost program
  • Join our committee!

Committee meetings:

Climate Change Committee meetings are generally held the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Noon via Zoom.  Check our Events Calendar for the schedule.
