Where to Vote?

In 2021, San Diego County implemented Vote Centers, following passage of the California Voter's Choice Act.  Approximately 30 days before an election, every active registered voter will automatically receive a ballot in the mail and will have options for how to return their ballot:

  • by mail;
  • to a secure ballot drop box;
  • or in person at any Vote Center.
 You choose, when, how and where to vote.  Secure ballot drop boxes will be available around the county 29 days before election day. Voting in person at vote centers will happen over multiple days.  You need not wait until election day to cast your ballot.

Check with the Registrar of Voters to find out more.
