Elections are no longer a one day event. You have many ways and many days to exercise your right to vote! 

 
Don't delay; avoid the last minute rush and mail in your ballot, drop it off at a secure drop box location, or vote in person at one of over 200 Vote Centers that are open around the County, (a select number open for 11 days before election day, all open 4 days before and on election day).

Why Should I Vote?

Elections affect every area of our lives from the health care you can receive, the water you drink, and the transportation systems you use.  When we vote, we choose the people who will make decisions about the shape and direction of our country and our community.

• Your vote matters; elections have been won by only one vote. 
• The right to vote is one of the most basic promises of our democracy and the one on which all our others rest.
• When we vote, it ensures that all voices are represented in our government, not just those with greater wealth or systemic advantages.
• Through our vote, we are able to express our values around issues like immigration, reproductive rights, climate change and more.

Where and How Do I Vote?

With the passage of the Voter's Choice Act, you can now vote when you want, where you want and how you want.


Every registered voter will receive an official ballot in the mail around 30 days before Election Day.  Your completed ballot can be mailed in, dropped at a secure drop box location, or you can vote in person. 

• 30 days before Election Day, early in-person voting begins at Registrar of Voters office, M-F, 8:00-5:00pm.
• Approximately 4 weeks before Election Day, secure ballot drop boxes become available throughout the County.
• Eleven days before Election Day, select Vote Centers for in-person voting will be open daily, 8:00am-5:00pm.
• The Friday before Election Day,  all Vote Centers will be open daily.
• November 5, last day to vote in the November 2024 Presidential Election. All Vote Centers will be open from 7:00am-8:00pm.
