• Students enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited institution can become members at no charge; membership dues are waived!

Individual Membership: $70

Household Membership: $120

• Includes two people (1 primary and 1 secondary).

Leader:  $100

Activist: $200

Advocate: $300

Suffragist: $500

Champion of Democracy: $1,000

Why Should I Join?

 LWV is one of the most respected and effective grassroots organization in the country.  Add your voice to a powerful force of members from all 50 states, Washington DC, the Virgin Islands, and Hong Kong.

Through participation in League projects, you will:

• contribute valuable service to the community
• gain knowledge and experience through the study and discussion of timely and important topics
• discover new interests, develop new skills and learn about crucial issues in your community
• make professional contacts
• develop lasting friendships as you meet others in League who share your interests.

There is no obligation to participate. We value all  members, regardless of the level of participation.  Your membership dues provide needed financial support that allow us to do our work, and becoming a member adds to our numbers, amplifying our voice and our political influence.  

What Do I Get?

You automatically become a member of the LWV California and LWV of the United States. You will receive their publications along with our local newsletter, The Voter newsletter.
