LWVNCSD to Hold Candidate Forum for Encinitas Mayoral and Council Races

Candidates Ehlers, Viskanta, Golden, Sprague, San Antonio and Lefkowits Scheduled to Appear at Sept. 17 Event
ENCINITAS, Calif. – September 3, 2026 –Candidates running in the Encinitas Mayoral and City Council Districts 3 and 4 races in the November 3, 2026 General Election are scheduled to take part in a Candidate Forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of North County San Diego. The live event will take place Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 to 8:30 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 890 Balour Dr, Encinitas, CA 92024. Candidates, Bruce Ehlers, Rimga Viskanta, Arielle Golden, Ed Sprague, Marco San Antonio and Brad Lefkowits have confirmed their attendance.
Conducted by the League of Women Voters of North County San Diego (LWVNCSD), these candidate forums are strictly non-partisan and are structured with trained facilitators to provide a fair and impartial platform for the public to hear directly from candidates about their qualifications, priorities, and plans. Candidates will have equal time for opening and closing statements and to respond to questions submitted in writing by the public.
