From: Marian Vega Clancy

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Two important Environmental events are taking place this week!

Please read on!
The Climate Interest Group is meeting on Monday Sept 30 at 3 pm.
We will have a guest speaker, Mary O’Kicki, who will discuss how Prop 4 will affect the environment and why LWVC is supporting it. This meeting will NOT be recorded, so if you are interested please attend.

Mary O’Kicki is a member of LWV Palo Alto. She is a member of the LWVC Natural Resources team and the LWVC Legislative Analysis team. She did part of the analysis of Prop 4, looking at both the DEI and the Natural Resources angles, that the LWVC board used in its decision to support this proposition.

Everyone is invited. Contact Carol Parker at secretary@lwvncsd.org if you have any questions.

Contact co-chair Anne Omsted, daomsted@gmail.com, if you have any questions.
