All Leagues in the United States are having Program Planning meetings at which the “grassroots” members decide what to tell the National League (LWVUS) board what they want support in the next two years.
LWVUS wants us to support:
Women Defend Democracy: Democracy Under Siege
(this includes: Voting Rights, Election Protection, Redistricting, Individual liberties, Immigration, The Presidency)
LWVNCSD members also report on other issues our members strongly support.
The February Voter will have more details!
Planning the Program for the next two years is primarily the work of League members. Guests are welcome to attend, observe the process, and provide important information and insights as we make decisions about what we what to accomplish over the next two years — BUT only League members may speak to arrive at a consensus. Light refreshments will be served.
