LWVNCSD Urges Escondido City Council to Continue Current Policy on Oral Communications

We believe that the ability for the public to provide public comment to elected officials should be encouraged. The council's current policy of taking public comment at the beginning of council meetings is consistent with this position and we support maintaining it, along with the policy of reading into the public record electronically-submitted communications.
